What are cookies

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit. They let the site remember things between pages and across visits — like keeping you signed in or holding what's in your cart. Most sites you use rely on them in some form.

We also use a few related technologies, such as local storageand similar browser features. Where we say "cookies" in this policy, we mean all of these together, since they do much the same job.

How we use cookies

We keep our use of cookies light and practical. We set them to make the site work, to remember your choices, and to understand — in aggregate — how people find and move through CloudPerch so we can make it better.

We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell the information they collect. If that ever changes, we'll update this page first and ask for consent where the law requires it.

Types of cookies we use

The cookies we set fall into three plain categories:

• Essential.These keep the site running — signing you in, securing your session, holding your cart through checkout, and protecting against fraud and abuse. The site can't work properly without them, so they're always on.
• Preferences.These remember small choices you make, such as your display settings or whether you've dismissed a notice, so the site behaves the way you left it next time.
• Analytics.These help us count visits and see, in aggregate, which pages are useful and where people get stuck. We use this to improve the site — it isn't tied to advertising.

Third-party cookies

Some cookies are set by trusted services we rely on rather than by us directly — for example, our payment processor during checkout, or the provider that helps us measure site usage. These partners act on our behalf and are bound to handle data responsibly.

Third parties set these cookies under their own policies, which we don't control. We choose providers carefully and keep the list short. Where a partner offers its own opt-out, you can use it alongside the controls below.

Managing your cookies

You're always in control. Every major browser lets you see the cookies a site has set, delete them, and block new ones — usually under Settings, then Privacy or Security. You can also browse in a private or incognito window, which clears cookies when you close it.

• Blocking essential cookies will break parts of the site — you may not be able to sign in or complete checkout.
• Blocking preferences or analyticscookies is fine; the site still works, it just won't remember some settings.

Where we're required to ask, you'll see a consent banner the first time you visit and can change your choice at any time from the cookie controls in the site footer.

Do Not Track

Some browsers can send a "Do Not Track" signal. There's no shared industry standard for how sites should respond to it, so — like most providers — we don't currently change our behaviour based on that signal. The cookie controls described above are the reliable way to manage what we set.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our site or the cookies we use change. When we make a meaningful change, we'll revise the "last updated" date at the top and, for anything significant, give you a clearer heads-up — such as a notice on the site.
